Boozt will be an official partner for both the men’s, women’s, and junior national teams governed by the Finnish Ice Hockey Association.

Malmö, Sweden – February 9, 2024 – Boozt, the leading Nordic online Department Store, today announced a new partnership with the Finnish Ice Hockey Association, becoming an ‘Official Partner’ of the national team, known as ‘The Lions’

Boozt has been catering to Finnish customers and contributing to Finnish society for a decade and this new major sponsorship marks a significant step in further strengthening Boozt's connection to Finland.

Boozt.com will be an official partner for both the men’s, women’s, and junior national teams governed by the Finnish Ice Hockey Association and the Boozt logo will prominently feature on the game jerseys of the Men's team, commencing with the tournament European Hockey Tour (EHT) tournament Beijer Hockey Games in Sweden.

"We are very excited about the opportunities this partnership presents. We understand the immense power ice hockey holds in uniting people and creating lasting memories in Finland, and we are thrilled to be a part of this special tradition," says CCO & co-founder Peter G. Jørgensen.

Lassi Rönkkönen, Sales and Marketing Director of the Finnish Ice Hockey Association, expresses his enthusiasm for the collaboration: “We are proud to announce Boozt as the newest member in the Lion Family. Boozt has lately engaged with sporting clubs and national teams in other Nordic countries, and we definitely see a win-win situation with this partnership in the Finnish markets for years to come.”

As a company, Boozt always prioritizes partnerships with sports teams and organizations that make a positive impact," Peter G. Jørgensen emphasizes. "The Lions, with their ability to bring people together, promote a winning culture, and encourage a healthy lifestyle, perfectly embodies this ideal,” he states.

The new partnership holds great opportunities for Boozt to further increase brand visibility for our strong Nordic Department Store as the Boozt logo and Boozt ads will be prominently displayed during games, promotional events, and campaigns reaching a broad and engaged audience.

The parties have entered into a collaborative agreement with a two-year term.
